i scour for roadside delights
inside pockets of wealthy men
with streets named after them,
They walk around groggily,
inside their mansions
chewing wires to keep alive
butterflies stuck inside
lightbulbs,in the darkest hour of the night.

Beautiful Manik. Makes me want to empty my pockets and throw my coins into the waterfall. Such a vibrant word picture..."chewing wires to keep alive." I would rather be poor, than caged in that false energy.
