Two poems

Events are symbolic, 

  like a rabbit

lit by the lights 

    of a speeding car,
biting on a sunflower
    with his heart
 in his mouth..

   

the oddities of exchange
   can be measured,
in the deft kisses
   on an
 abnormal growth of skin..
