And i mumbled words to the door
I will always be close,
to unbolt what life is left of you,
The lock clicked and i walked away
feeling caged with a key from the outside,
It is a battle for the intentionally lost
and the man on the inside always wins....
bless u....
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the song lyric..."when a hear breaks, it doesn't break even." These simple ideas, such as "home is where the heart is" have lost all meaning for me. They are for nursery school children. I watch them expand and explode into a thousand other ideas of home and heart. Being shut out is equally suppressing as being shut in. Depth and passion, love and knowledge come more easily with no doors, no walls.
ReplyDeletethey say when a bird's home bound, it seldom looks beyond the nest and i din fail to notice ur flight
ReplyDeleteAnnie,
ReplyDeleteperhaps they have lost meaning for all of us...An idea itself has become home and home is left to be in those ideas....
Neha,
I'm glad you did...We all sleep in the same nest...
