Betrayal

farewell old lantern
Your mystique finds a gutter finally,
i have walked around these corners
and forever had faith in your stance
There were stormy nights
on the walkway, when you lifted your
pants and gently strolled behind the oak
In your pocket is the thimble
i wore when the air was heavy with pus,
I murdered a lunatic here once
as he made funny noises with
his boots,
Between her eyebrows a firefly twitched
as i kicked about the body,
A waste such a man is,
a cold tooth in the corner of my mouth
You peeked but never shivered
like a disappointed friend,
But you never told me his
were the bigger feet even though
my footsteps left the loudest noises...

  1. Wow. I can't even get a handle on what you are saying here, but it is absolutely riveting! Manik, Manik, Manik. Such a talent you have. Write me beautifully, for I have long felt ugly.
