Relationship

Beyond the white prairie
is a wolf snarling
at a dying tree

Old,beneath its trunk
is the earth frozen with blood
from the wolf's fangs

the organs of love,
dead beneath the ground
as  around the heart

  2. There are so many layers to everything! The unveiling happens with all things, and sometimes it is a revelation. Sometimes it is the slap that moves us from denial to something more meaningful.

Hope you are doing well my sweet, melancholy friend.

    1. Annie,

when loneliness reveals itself as much more than the absence of someone...that is when all layers are one...

I have been good...i have little words left in me these weights...they are probably hanging around my belly for i have gained a few pounds...

    2. No one likes a skinny man. Men look best when they are substantial :)

You're right, the loneliness beyond the absence of another human means you yourself are missing. Not good. I'm coming back to myself in pieces. It is good.
